Must be a Mon...Friday???

This morning I got to sleep in for about 9.5 more minutes than usual (not that anyone was counting or anything). When I woke, the sun was shining. It was a good morning. I had time to actually eat a little breakfast (a rare thing for me). I even had time for devotions in the morning, so I knew it was REALLY a good morning. On top of all this, I walked out of the door earlier than any other morning this week. The temperature was perfect outside. My Jeep started and no warning lights came on, one of my favorite Keith Urban songs was playing when I started up my car, traffic was moving along at the right pace (no Sunday drivers had decided to venture out on a Friday morning), everyone stopped and took their turn in the correct order at the 4-way stop, the traffic light turned green as I approached, I knew the workload was pretty well caught up when I left the office last night, so I was ready for a quiet, easy day....it really WAS a good morning. And FRIDAY to boot.

And then I crossed the threshold into the office building...

I logged myself into my computer, checked my e-mail, launched the software programs I use throughout a typical day and settled in for a good Friday. Except, this is the day that our CRM/Order Entry software that we use all day long pretty much EVERY day would decide to quit running correctly. Easy day? Think again. Instead, I spent a good portion of my morning on the phone with tech support troubleshooting the problem with another call scheduled for 1:45 this afternoon to address other issues that they said need to be fixed in our data files.

So my Friday comes disguised as a Monday at the office. But what I'd really like to know is why don't Mondays ever come disguised as Fridays?
